I had just recently gone and visited my little home town Camp Verde Az. One morning a friend and I had walk to work to help promote physical fitness and in collaboration with Earth Day. So I had thought great this is a good time to take some photos of the Middle Verde Reservation. But my smart ass for got to clear out my memory card. so here are some photos that I was able to get before my card ran out of memory.

The cost of photojournalism

Thank you to Jeff Foss for letting me come in and hang out with you.

I recently had the opportunity to shadow job over Jeff Foss chief photographer down at Ch 2 news in Reno. I was given the grand tour of the ins and outs in news and broadcasting.  Watching Jeff do his thing, he was all over the place up high down low trying I mean trying not to fall. At one point of the day Jeff turns to me and says "There is a wall between you and the subject that you are shooting. There are no personal connection there, you have to keep a professional appeal while you are out shooting." I understood where he was coming from but hearing this kinda got me down because I love to talk while I'm photographing and getting the hole story behind the photo.

At one point of the day I started to think how far would a photojournalism go just to get the great shot? I have always known how far a photographer would go to get the perfect image. I have read an article about money vs ethics, at what point should the photographer drop the camera and try to save people? The photograph, while important, isn't worth letting someone die over. I could ask the same question to myself how far would i or even jeff go just to get that one shot, the truth is that I have no answer.  Looking at my photos, I have done some shady things just to get the shot. I guess the real question is I am really ready to put someone's life on the line just to get a photo, time will only tell what will happen.

Love, Bunny Style

The word love can refer to a variety of different emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. Love for me as always been a struggle, not knowing why we all strive for a feeling that can brighten our day or darken it. so I headed out to the one place where people can go and experience love ( with a little price tag) the famous Moonlight Bunny Ranch. Here I interviewed some women who openly talked about what love meant to them and how much it plays in their own personal life.

Miss Bunny Love was the first girl that I interviewed, she is careful in how she approaches love. "I have been in love with someone, but I feel like its something that I have to be careful with. I see a lot of girls around here that like to throw it around, they  would say "O I love him , I love him" it makes me cringe. sometimes it seems like they are using the word carelessly. What is the real meaning if you love everyone, if you suppose to love that one person that you want to be with. I like to be careful with how I use the word. Am not in love with someone right now, but I do fall for people easily. I like to let myself know that just because you really care for someone and want to spend time with him or her doesn't really mean that you love him or her."

My next girl Miss Pairs took love into a spiritual realm. "I believe that love is real because do to my belief in Christ and what Christ represents (is love). Everything that I feel for another human being, even for people that I don't know or people I know. It's Just a warm feeling that is really hard to express but it's defiantly there. It's  a feeling that is very unconditional, it's not like any other feeling that you have. I don't have a one love right now, but I have loved before. I even have love for my clients that I see, I have a love for them and affection for them. I want the best for another human being and their lively hood."

Miss Brooklyn Star is a very loving person. " The word love I think goes more off of someone's actions. I do say the love word a lot, every time I talk to someone on the phone or in general. I tell my family and close friends that i love them. I think it is important for people to know that they are loved, I also think it is important for people to see that love. Love for me is also a deep scene of caring for somebody. I think there is one real deep love, but don't know if we all will find it. Right now i do have a very deep profound love for  somebody.

Miss Willow feels that you should be in love with one person at a time. " I definitely don't think that love is here in the brothel or with my clients. Love just happens, you can't plan it. You fall in love for different reasons.

Every one of these women response was very helpful in how love can be defined. Even thou I didn't find in what I was really looking for, I did learn that there is no true meaning to what love is. But someone did tell me that if I am  struggling with love that i have no big problem in how I am Handling love.
