The directors are basically being paid to do one thing--excite the viewer. Thats the opposite of what I want to do. I certainly don't want to sexually arouse anybody, but i do want to arouse the viewer's curiosity and sense of mystery.
I want to show them as people, iI don't want them to be glamour girls or glamour boys--that's a tired set of images. I don't think there's any mystery left to explore there.
