Last semester a fellow classmate had posted a blog on the Sierra Nevada College blogspot http://sncart.blogspot.com/2009/11/living-photograph-chris-with-teacup.html . She writs "photography vs video which is better? You decide!". Well for my final i would like to put that to the test. I will keep photographing in my usual spaces, but also i will be using video . My goal is to see if the viewer will have the some reaction to a still photo, to a person holding their pose in a video.

A Women's Subconscious Mind.
In my Advanced Digital Darkroom class I did a remix project. Here I had used some videos from the Prelinger Archives and over laid them over each-other. Enjoy Happy Times.

Title
In the summer of 2009 I began to visit Dennis Hof Famous Moonlight Bunny Ranch. I was not there for pleasure but to get behind the scene of the bunny ranch. I wanted to get to know the girls for who they are not for what they do. Well sure I did asked why they are there, but I did more than interview them I also let them into my personal life. I thought it was fair enough to share some of my life experience with them. I have learned from them as mush as I learned from myself. During my interview I let the girls get ready, or whatever they do on a daily bases. I also was photographing them getting ready watching T.V., or working out. After each interview I left there feeling with a unique connection with each individual girl that i had talk to. I didnt want to go in there with sex or prostitution on my mind, want i wanted from this was i show that these girls are not there to do harm, but to make living and have fun in what they are doing.
Some of these photos was used as part of my B.F.A. Show at my current school. I am very thankful for them having me there. THANKS GIRLS!!
Over my spring break I had gone back to interview my girls in what love means to them and how serious they take this word. Their response are one of a kind.
** I will post this project soon**
Thank You,
Rubio
